Not checking in a full size suitcase so not ideal to put the suits into smaller bags but I guess I can make it work if I have to with the trick to put one sleeve into the other and then fold it.
Yeah, that'll work, But as others have suggested previously your suits will survive the journey better if you pack them properly into your checked luggage.
I know they have cost a lot of money and you want your babies with you, but pragmatically, checking them in is probably the best idea both for them and for your own travel comfort.
