Just got an email from AS with a very sophisticated survey mechanism that is meant to tease out the most important preferences (lounge, pre-departure bev, seats, private terminal/security entrance for F, etc).

Lie flat seats were mentioned three times and I always chose that option even if it meant that my second priority was minimized.

Progress! Sounds like this is under consideration by AS senior leadership.
