HELP! Because of Choice Hotels no place to stay in Punta Cana
We booked our hotel to Punta Cana in May of 2023 and received a confirmation through Radisson. We then booked flights. In October we called choice hotels to confirm the stay and received a choice hotels confirmation code (all recorded conversations). Suddenly now we are being told that the hotel sold in November and is now according to Google "permanently closed".
We now have disappointed kids at home - this would have been their first all inclusive stay and we were all so excited. Also, we have non-refundable airline tickets but no place to stay in Punta Cana.
We feel deceived. For Choice Hotels it wouldn't be a big deal to reimburse us for the flights but for us it is a lot of money lost and no vacation. 😢
Choice hotels keeps offering us 30,000 bonus points which is a joke in comparison to what we lost.
