I think I am a generally considerate traveller but it genuinely would not have crossed my mind I would be an inconvenience by walking down an aisle regardless of class of travel. Having travelled in Y many times over the decades I've never felt like my privacy has been invaded by anyone walking down an aisle, and I wouldn't have known where they came from - either within the Y cabin or outside it - doesn't matter to me.
I have no expectation of comfort or privacy in Y anyway!
Also, the number of F and J passengers is far less than Y so even if every one of them traipsed through Y that would surely be less disruptive than 180 + from Y coming through J and F.... not being difficult and not trying to be smart - I just had not considered talking a walk was all that big a disturbance to other passengers and have personally never felt that way myself when in Y.
I will listen and learn.
