With the finite number of bassinet there is no guarantee you will get one if you have an infant. Our baby didn't fit in a bassinet after 8 months and with some other babies this will be earlier. I wouldn't sit in row 1 of the a350 due to light and noise from the galley disturbing the baby, row 15 was pretty bad too as the crew on one flight liked slamming lockers really loudly. There are quite a few reasons why the bassinet might be sub optimal.
