I would love to know that answer as well. R/T MIA-LHR is the OLD school coffin seats I am booking this July as well in UC (reward points) and the choice on Virgin is lame. I have flown those for 20 years - innovative back then but really second rate now. I don't know what warrants TPA getting the new suite design and not MIA. VS should have renovated all the UC by the time. I live 20 miles from MIA so traveling to TPA isnt an option
Virgin service is great, food good, Clubhouse is superb
The other direct choice is BA 380 with outdated, cramped Club seats. Done those and hate them. Maybe that is why VS doesnt change the UC seats as BA is juts as bad
We booked TPA last November because a) the times and dates worked better for our trip than MCO or MIA and b) so we could experience the Neo on the route it was heavily marketed as running.
Virgin then switched it out to MIA for the weeks around our trip and bumped us back to the old A333 so, as said above, you never know.
