I was advised by the executive club to book the outbound first (using 1 voucher), and for the return, I just need to call executive club for them to apply the other voucher and link the bookings together.
This is contrary to what many testimonies... Just wondering if anyone has been successful doing this?
I’m interested in the answer to this question too.
I’d also like to avoid calling and would rather book the inbound flight with Avios (since I have enough) and call later to link the bookings. The problem is that I won’t be able to use the upgrade voucher for the inbound flight because it doesn’t start in the UK. So I’m thinking of booking two outbound flights with my two vouchers, then book the inbound flights when they’re available at T-355 and call to link the bookings.
Another issue is that both vouchers are under my name and I want to book a popular route. So when the outbound flight is available at T-355, my OH and I will have to log into my account from separate devices and each make our bookings with my vouchers, otherwise the seats will be gone while I complete my first booking. Has anyone tried this before? Wondering whether BA will lock my account out if I try this…
