I noticed BA28 HKG-LHR on 9 Feb is cancelled, which is because the incoming BA27 has turned around over the Black Sea near to Trabzon, and seems to be heading back to LHR where it will probably land at around 0500.

The flight is operated by G-ZBKH which a few months ago did the same https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/brit...-heathrow.html though only got as far as Germany.

Any further info on this? I suppose at least the pax will have got a bit of sleep rather than being chucked out of LHR at 1am
