There was a data point on another platform from a year ago where the poster shared that Costco Travel now gives qualifying nights. They posted a screenshot from the FAQ and another screenshot of their points breakdown from their stay at Hyatt Regency Waikiki Beach. If only they provided a third screenshot of the email confirmation from Costco Travel though.

Supposedly, only room-only bookings are valid to earn points, but I have only seen Hyatt Regency Waikiki Beach offering packages (hotel and transfers).

Definitely try and share your data point once you complete your stay!
