Did I understand the new chart correctly in which a Europe 2 - South East Asia (Far East) OR North America now costs 90k per way regardless of if with *A or TK? So a 2x increase ??
Am I reading this correctly ?
yes. you read correctly - and we are talking about the "promotional tickets" - not the full price ones
DE-JFK - Flying Blue deepest mileage cost - 100.000 miles for the business class roundtrip
DE-JFK - Miles&More mileage cost - 112.000 miles for the business class roundtrip
DE-JFK - Turkish Airlines previously - 90.000 miles for the business class roundtrip (promotional ticket)
NOW
DE-JFK - Miles & Smiles - 180.000 (!!!) miles for the business class roundtrip (promotional ticket)
they have gone nuts - the mileage earning on TK flights is so low (no exeecutive bonuses except 25% for business class) - it's very hard to pile up miles - and then every three years they expire.
