At least you were able to lock in something that worked. That's a win! EVA is going to do what they think is best. Even though it may not be what you or I would like to see we have to work in their framework.
Full FY 2023 numbers are not available but I perused some financials for EVA, comparing the first 3 quarters of 2022 to the first 3 quarters of 2023, and their profit more than doubled in one year. What is revenue management supposed to think? We doubled profits year over year with our current strategy, lets give away more free awards?! They might be in a wait and see approach to see if profits keep rising.
