These P&W overhauls on A320neos by comparison are on engines built since 2015 and are being spread over a 2-year period, according to the linked article, with some of the checks overlapping with scheduled shop visits which hardly screams quite the same poor subcontractor QC which caused
a door to blow off mid flight.
While your point regarding subcontractor issues is noted, I'd be more interested to hear your opinion on the Boeing corporate culture as it relates to safety.
