If it has not been noted upstream, Hyatt members, regardless of elite level, received complimentary breakfast at SLH hotels because I think it is a brand standard. No real other benefits I think were mandated, but although I had yet to stay at any of these properties, I really appreciated the extended reach it gave Hyatt, in out of the way places, such as Normandy, etc.

Given that I have many more HHonors points than Hyatt points and the the latter are significantly easier to come by, I look forward to spending HHonors points at these properties.

Although I nice gym is an added bonus to me, it is not a make or break consideration, especially when you are dealing with boutique hotels, many with very few rooms -- more important is the comfort and location of the property in question.

Finally, I would contemplate that most if not all of the SLH portfolio that appears on the Hyatt website will migrate to Hilton, with a few deciding not to join and others not seen on Hyatt perhaps, joining.

In addition, it may be the case that some properties may elect to stay with Hyatt by migrating to their Mr. and Mrs. Smith brand/website to be launched in the future.
