A friend of mine claims that a Diamond representative told him that Delta is no longer selling Skyclub memberships for the $695 rate. He tried to renew and was denied. He was told that moving forward the ONLY way to access the clubs will be through a variety of American express cards. I told him that the agent was completely mistaken, but when I tried to see if I could "purchase" a membership, the link didn't work.

Anyone have thoughts? i can not believe that Delta would get rid of the ability to purchase a membership.
