The screens in the lounge only showed 'Gate Open', and if a 'Go to Gate' or 'Now Boarding' message was shown it can't have been for more than 1-2 minutes at best.

The flight has pushed back and it seems all other PAX made it, whether they were waiting at the gate or not, or in the lounges, for the delayed departure I do not know, but interested in whether this is just my oversight, or whether I'm justifiably on the war path...
I’m afraid that I’d have gone when it said Gate Open. I do realise that there is a trend of arriving at the last minute that runs in this Forum. I’d rather be where I am meant to be ; to my sure, and certain knowledge no aircraft has ever boarded directly from the CCR. never mind the Flounge. I too would be furious, but mostly myself haven’t got so close and still missing the wretched flight. Unfortunately, fortunately, for the others BA are now quite active at dealing with no-shows (for whatever reason). It would appear that this is becoming a regular problem as it happens, I was on this exact flight Yesterday, and the delightful lead told me that they simply get put on the next flight if there is one or if not they have to wait to be escorted out of the terminal. Unless there was a known fault with the system, and I think you would have difficulty proving with there was unless this happened to lots of people Then I think you have to chalk this one up to bad luck and file it under S for Stuff happens. We were luckier than they in that we left from gate A7 rather than braving the elements after a bus ride at Heathrow. It’s blowing and raining Heaven’s Hardest here in Brittany. I hope that you make it to Roissy soon.
