I can only imagine many conversations have been had and numbers crunched that has led BA to not react to these ongoing issues mid-season.
Ultimately safety first, revenue and margin second, disruption third provided the impact on revenue and margin is acceptable? I suspect - as eluded to up-thread - that the impact is felt by a very small number of people overall and doesn’t make enough of a dent in their reputation.
It sucks, I know, but business is business in the end.
