I made a reservation where one has to have a credit card selected in case one cancels after the free cancellation period. I used my Marriott Chase card, but want to switch to using my new AMEX card when checking out. Can I tell the front desk to use a different card than what is in the reservation to pay all room and extra charges? The rate is not a prepaid rate, but a 14 day advance rate (japan).
