If you do not get a BP at LIS, you should be able to online with QR or in the app. This will allow you to transit/remain in transit at MAD. Or just wait for QR transit desk to open?

Thanks everyone! I doubt QR will operate a transit desk at Madrid (it's always just been Iberia handling oneworld), but it's all on one ticket and no luggage.
Do you think I can check in on the QR app even though it's a 001 (American Airlines) ticket?
