I'll second the vote for Wise. Recently started with them and really am impressed with the ease of use, transparency and rates/fees.

My need doesn't justify adding another card to my life, but of it did I would definitely be looking closely at Wise.

For now just having a better grasp on how this all works - and mostly the shenanigans at the airport - is a big help.
