Recently, I was trying to do CX472/CX473 turnaround. The agents at the First Class Check-in counter (HKG) were very reluctant to do it, telling me that the MCT at TPE is 90 minutes, whereas there are only 60 minutes between 473 and 472. Ultimately, they agreed to make an exception for me and issued an MAAS. However, it turned out that it only took me 10 minutes to do the transit at TPE, and I still had more than 15 minutes to spare.

That said, I would hesitate to do turn-around flights in mainland China airports. They certainly do not have as efficient a setup as TPE.
