I'll add my name to those who think this is a perfectly acceptable topic for FT.
There are many folks on here who travel in F and private on a regular basis and also have experience of different VIP services around the world.
So they will know what benefits soft and hard you are likely to get.
My understanding is that the OP has managed to use one of the Heathrow VIP services (either through their own dollar or gifted, we don't know) and has had a bit more recognition at different places during the travelling process than they are used to or perhaps expected.
Some of those recognitions may have been an expected part of the service and some of them may have been provided because of individual staff preferences or how they felt or were available on the day.
So it just seems like one level up from the Gold Greeting thread that many others have already contributed to.
