If you used Heathrow VIP you would be marked as VIP on the manifest and BA SS (despite what you may read on FT!) spend much of their time escorting people well-known enough to benefit from some degree of discrete transfer around the airport. I suppose it is therefore a soft benefit of Heathrow VIP.

On that point, I hope you don’t mind me asking GodAtum but was there a particular reason that you purchased the service? Most people who do so are able to charge it to someone else as at c.£3.5k including VAT (assuming you had to pay the VAT) it would add a significant proportion to the cost of even a full fare F to JFK. Did you use the Windsor suite?

Diamond Air do an arrivals/connection service which I understand is more keenly priced!
