  1. I wonder the 3k tour will allow you to buy a bottle of H12 too?
  2. The 3k tour includes an 'original tasting glass' (which I have bought from Yama many times). But the 5k premium tour also include a 'glass holder' - what is this?
While the facilities are amazing, having done the Yama tour a few times, it's starting to get repetitive. But I don't mind the train ride out there if it means the chance of being able to sample + purchase some reasonable priced whisky before the next price increase....

Reporting back myself. Lucked out and got a last minute cancellation last week.

Did the normal 3000 yen tour. No H12 offered.

Gift shop has the NAS for 4950 yen or the distillery limited bottle for 1466 yen. Unfortunately you're only allowed a grand total of one bottle - can't even grab one of each. Settled for the latter as I figured its more 'exclusive' and the NAS you could pick up else where...even if it means ridicious mark up (eg. Don Quijote for 19k)

Only did a trio tasting. So wasn't sure if the upper limit of 6 samples was exclusive to the Yamazaki factory or not.
