Found a vegan restaurant in Chiang Mai. The food is terrific, first vegan restaurant I've ever been to and they have a varied menu. Meals for under 300 THB and they take credit cards and it's a roomy, air-conditioned dining room. They have a couple of tables outside but there are mopeds and cars whizzing by constantly, though it's walled off from the street, you can hear the traffic.

It's called Goodsouls Kitchen, kind of in the northwest corner of the Old City.
Goodsouls Kitchen is indeed top notch.

Very nearby is Fern Forest Cafe. Highly recommended also.
