On a recent flight from JFK to LHR, I was escorted from checkin to the lounge, then from the lounge to the plane. I also was asked my meal choice 1st. I was flying F but have no status.

I assume they were BA Special Services? The only reason I can think of as to why I had this treatment was because I used Heathrow VIP on arrival.
