I do agree that the main purpose is to enable a better system which I am sure makes sense to the vast majority of people. With Miles and More just going to the BA model and many other airlines following BA's model there is little need to change it. Leisure travel is a key market whereas business travel is likely to not recover to pre covid levels and one I am sure BA want to tap into and not lose people over changes to revenue based earning to other airlines especially within Europe where there is so much competition out there. The Amex offer I imagine helps BA very little and helps amex a great deal
What would you do if BA did change it?
What makes it competetive for you and what value specifically do you feel you get out of it? Do you do TP runs?
