Hi all. I have a AS points redemption in late March for YVR-HKG-CAN on CX one way.

I am wondering if I can potentially book a single WJ flight from YYC-YVR and link both itineraries together and have the bags checked from YYC through to CAN.

I tried chatting with a CX agent but he just asked me to call WJ to confirm. WJ website doesn’t seem to have chat feature and I was on hold with them on the phone for an hour before line dropped.
