I did get a reply a while back from my contact about this the first time it got raised; apparently there was no good reason for the segment restriction, and that they were trying to get it modified to display the full itinerary.

However it still doesn't seem to have been changed, so I've just emailed them back to get an update - will post here when I get any further info.
