I don't really agree with this, at least not compared to the many other changes we've seen at BA over the decades.

The general loss for everyone is the reduction from 7 to 4 weeks of status at the end of your membership year. Yes that's a loss but I don't think it's a game changing one tbh.

The rest of it re dates mostly comes out in the wash. The alignment might be helpful for some families, or those with an inconvenient TP year currently. Unhelpful for some others. For most of us, probably won't make very much of a difference.
