You definitely have 2 claims here, keep them separate.
For the delay, send a complaint to customer relations online at aa.com. For such a lengthy delay as an F pax they should throw a decent amount of miles your way and/or some type of trip credit. Don't even mention anything about the bags here, that will just confuse things.
For the baggage damage, follow the instructions at aa.com to submit your claim as noted above (
