Yes, occasionally it can take more than 14 workings days, although it doesn’t seem you’ve actually waited that long. It can be frustrating, but you will get the TPs eventually. You’ve followed up - they’ve said there have been technical issues. Perhaps best to wait as advised?
That's an admirably postive stance (genuinely, I'm not trying to be sarcastic).
Apart from the reported disconnection call issues in the original post; The bonus TP delay definitely provides frustration and can effect (
read has effected - along with the current significant website issues) the booking of future flights based on whether the double points result in an Exec club status uplift ('free' seat booking ability for example).
For me it's more a matter of fairness. The 14
working day element forms part of the offer T&C's published by BA.
As customers, we have to adhere to
all of these conditions or face consequences. If BA then fail to adhere to their
own conditions - what consequences then occur? ... Other than the ire of some customers and Club members of course!
The phrase 'you can't have it both ways' seems appropriate?
