Anybody know how the renewal of the SE wifi benefit works? If I renew it early (ie select my 2024 SE benefits now) does it just add 12 months validity to the existing plan, or does it just bin the old plan and start a new 12 month plan from my next flight?
From my observation this year, the system renews the benefit only after your previous one expires, even if you choose that benefit earlier. In 2023 I activated my plan on January 31. I chose my 2024 benefit in early January and it showed up in the benefits section of the app immediately. had flights on Jan 17 and 22 where I used the wifi and logged in like normal. Today (Feb 6) I logged in and I got a notice asking me if I wanted to activate my 2024 plan.
