Your existing status applies until your current year end.

If you maintain/attain status by your current year-end you get that status until your next year-end (i.e. the 2025 equivalent date).

There is then a 12-month look-back on April 1, 24 for everyone to determine what status you will have from your then current end-date through to April 1, 2026.

So if Gold now and Oct 24 end date. And you renew Gold. You have Gold until Oct 25. Then on April 24 is a look-back 12 months. If you have enough Gold TP you have Gold until April 26. Otherwise you are Gold until October 25 and then drop to Silver through April 26.
