Our plan was to travel a lot post April 1st 2025 as we have elderly parents and lot of major events coming up.
My expectation is that my GGL membership will soon be renewed until October 31st 2025. However, we will do little travel in that April 24- May 25 period. So does that mean that if I get the 3000 TP between April 1st 2025 and my expiry date of Oct 31st 2025, I keep GGL or does it mean that I would have to find 5000 tp to re qualify for GGL?
Very similar situation.
I’m a GGL with a tier point collection date of 8th August. On 28th March my excel sheet shows I’ll be at 3090 TPs so will retain GGL until Sept 2025.
My plan was to use points for travel in the summer; two trips booked. Have to decide whether to cancel and use some cash as I will not make 3000TPs between August 2024 and March 2025.
No real objection to the move, but I think greater notice was needed.
