I cannot recommend the LM location, primarily because it is near ground zero when protests occur and access can be troublesome. I also think the W and Ritz while in a lovely area, are a bit too far out for where I want to be. In fact, my perfect Santiago location is the Four Points. 2 Metro lines out the back door, lots of good eats nearby, and a more "real" and less precious experience than the 'hood of the W. (I've only been to Santiago maybe 35 to 40.times, and have stayed near the city center, at the (what is now) the LM, at a cute boutique hotel nearby there, at the W, IC and Sheraton, and lately, keep returning to the FP, which offers a pleasant little buffet breakfast.
