Just had a 2 night weekend stay here and it was a fantastic property for exploring Philly!
As the user above mentioned, the valet parking area was crazy busy at peak times - I saw tons (at least 30-40) of people waiting for their vehicles at 6 PM on Saturday night...and they all looked quite miserable. Valet seemed pretty understaffed, and some of the workers were a bit rude, but seemed relatively effective. Every time I texted for my car (30 minutes in advance, as the tag tells you), I was able to retrieve it easily, so maybe you just need to know what to expect. The side-street that is used to park/valet (and has the main entrance to the hotel) is relatively quiet, so it was always pretty easy to get into the valet vehicle at least!
I did a cash rate as it was only ~$180/night with tax, though with $60 valet parking, it became about $240/night. Since this is a category 4, it was 12k/night for me since it was off-peak...so probably would've been a good redemption on points. Valet parking is included on free nights, as valet is charged to your room.
I was upgraded to their Executive Suite, but only after texting the property inquiring about an upgrade. I was upgraded to the 1 King Bed City View pre-emptively, but only received the suite upgrade after texting, which is always a bit frustrating. The Executive Suite was really just a studio suite, similar to other Hyatt Centric Studio Suites. It was a great room though - new, modern furnishings, quiet AC, large shower, separated toilet with its own door, separated bathroom area with its own door too. I wish the room had a bit more window space, as the only window is pretty narrow, but is floor-to-ceiling. Curtains worked well to block out light, and it was pretty quiet at night despite being in a busy area.
Overall, great location and modern property to explore Philly. Close to all attractions and tons of food options. Valet parking is the only seemingly rough part about this property, but I had good experiences with it personally. I'm surprised that it's a category 4 to be honest, I would expect category 5 in the future.
