FOR YEARS this has been the same situation with the W Shanghai. I can never check in before 5 pm if my SNA to the Bund View Suite clears.
I was offered complimentary breakfast for the 3 of us due to the check in delay which we were very happy with. I am not sure how a hotel will deal with the situation when breakfast is already included such as at a W.
The suite was great and may have the best view of any Shanghai hotels. I can totally see them removing this suite from the NUA pool in the future.
