The status lasts under the new system to the end of April, not March. See the BA webpage marked "Ending in July".
These two statements in the "What if I don't earn enough..." seem contradictory. How do they both support the "you don't get truncated" viewpoint? It seems like first does, but 2nd seems to explicitly state you do get truncated.
  1. ...your status will be updated at the end of your Membership card expiry date
  2. If you don't meet the required Tier Points to maintain your status you'll be downgraded from 1 May 2025.
