Welcome to Flyertalk and welcome to the BA forum. It may be easier to walk through the qualification points but I think you have that correct. You aren't really affected by the change and it's only a small date change for you anyway.
On 8 March 2024 = Bronze, expiry 31 March 2025, points go to zero on 9 February so hopefully the 480 TPs is after that.
May 2024 = hit Silver, old system, that will have an expiry of 31 March 2026 - current year and the full following year.
8 March 2025 = still Silver.
1 April 2025 = still Silver, however from this point you are on the new system and always looking at earnings ending 31 March every year.
