My year-end is February, so, according to BA's FAQ's for people with a year-end in February, I will effectively have two overlapping TP collection periods, 9 Feb 24 - 8 Feb 25 and 1 Apr 24 - 31 Mar 25, and tier points collected in the overlap period (1 Apr 24 - 8 Feb 25) will count towards both collection periods.
Am I missing something really fundamental? Happy to accept that I might be.
I too am a 8 Feb TP year end person and I read it exactly the same as you.
I am currently Bronze and will remain Bronze after 9 Feb with only reward flights booked and as I see it if I earn 600TP between 1 Apr 2024 and 8 Feb 2025 the 600TP will be counted again in the period 9Feb2025 to 31 Mar 2025 giving me Silver until 30 Apr 2026.
