Also understand that QR crews have the highest workload of any J cabin - think dine on demand, individually plating all mains (not just reheating dishes in casserole a la EU/US3 carriers), various espresso based drinks, frothing milk, chai lattes, each component of tableware placed individually, no trays or trolleys either. So perspective matters here, will the often perfect SQ crew able to handle dine on demand workflows in a full J class? Not too sure.

- Being unprepared when boarding starts resulting in cabin crew running back and forth whilst passengers are asked to wait on the jetbridge

This is most often not the crews fault but at the incompetence of the ground crew (happens all the time in DOH) who decides to board before the crew gives the go ahead (ground crews in Doha are measured by on time boarding performance so they tend to just board early for their own benefit and pass on blame the crew for not being ready - not fully fair). I think half of time on flights from DOH the crew was frazzled to see me at the jet bridge with the “oh we’re boarding now?” Reaction - but they hustled and recovered most of the time.

Generally, in my experience, the Asian, Egyptian, and Middle Eastern male cabin crews have been the worst, doing the bare minimum and not attentive at all. I have also had many disappointing experiences with QR's female cabins, though I must say that for the most part, the Asian and Serbian female cabin crews have been great.

I had a an all -Filipino J crew last year and oh my days best flight of the year (gave me 2 extra amenity kit pouches ). All of the Japanese/S.Korean Crews have been top notch as well but they are very rare to see these days.
