It is nice to know A3 allows upgrades (with a voucher).

In contrast I recently tried to upgrade the return leg of a TAP flight (so both legs would be business class). That was to be done by paying cash for the upgrade. TAP said no, and the only way to make an upgrade was to cancel the entire reservation and rebook. Quite the pain as it turned out.But at least I will get A3 miles and TPs for both legs.
