it looks like the possibilities for the last stop on this Electra trip are Cincinnati/CVG and Indianapolis/IND … Eastern did operate at Evansville/EVV, but BHM-EVV seems a bit on the obscure side; I’m also recalling DL had more service from there to Chicago

I'll offer CVG for now

14- for the itinerary from GVA, which features an online connection to a TATL segment on a 747, we’ve eliminated BA (LHR and IAD), LH (FRA and JFK/BOS), and SN (BRU and ORD)

in addition, we know the 72S from the international arrival gateway wasn’t AA (with the enroute stop at DFW), CO (DEN), TW (STL), or UA (ORD) … that leaves either DL or EA operating XXX-Atlanta/ATL-ABQ

given that I’m having a really tough time with a European flag carrier besides BA/LH operating a 747 into other gateway airports in the northeastern U.S., it’s time to explore a different option:
  • GVA-Amsterdam/AMS KLM DC-9-30
  • AMS-Los Angeles/LAX KLM 747-200
  • LAX-Salt Lake City/SLC-ABQ Western 72S
