Japan Do this year will be in Nagoya and I wanted to organise a day trip to Takayama and Shirakawago. Takayama is relatively easy to get to from Nagoya by train but Shirakawago is an hour’s drive away from Takayama and a day trip to both is logistically difficult. In the end I have picked a bus tour which seems like a good value for money.
