I have been looking on seatguru and seatmaps, along with the KAL site and I see seat width for economy ranges from 17.2 to 18.1 inches on their 747s. Seat maps/KAL say 17.2 and seatguru says 18.1. Which one is more accurate? I would be very surprised if seat width on these planes is 17.2 (smaller than some domestic planes). Looking at work travel (can only do economy, anything more I would have to pay out of pocket - that’s another topic for another time). Eyeing KAL or JAL since seat pitch is about as much as Main Cabin Extra/Comfort Plus on AA/DL. Anyone have any more input to provide? Most likely doing ATL-ICN route there. As a tall and big guy (6’5”), seat pitch should be okay. I usually get comfort plus or main cabin extra seats on DL/AA when I can. I would most likely do aisle seat just so I can get up and move every couple hours.
