Another downgrade to the RC card. Others upthread (#60) have reported receiving the Club Level Upgrades shortly after product changing to the RC card. The new policy is no Club Upgrades until after the first anniversary date of the card. They are firm on this in correspondence.

The T&C clearly state that the Club Level Upgrades are "per account anniversary year" where the "account anniversary year" is "the year beginning with the account open date", but they won't budge. The fact that the language for the Club Upgrade ("per account anniversary year") is starkly different from the language for the FNA ("after your account anniversary date") is a pretty clear indication that the official policy should be to deposit upgrades on the account opening and free nights after one year. The T&C haven't changed, but their interpretation has changed.
