I wouldn't say the leg well is any longer, but I've also seen elsewhere others mention that 1A/1K and 9A/9K have slight extra space besides the the foot well.
It's nothing really significant, maybe enough to put a blanket there, but in my opinion not anything that will make you feel more comfortable than being in any of the other J seats.
