2nd renewal Biz Plat card, AF due today. I chatted to please cancel the card to avoid paying the annual fee. Then I remembered that I need to check regarding retention offer from last year as this was not a first renewal.

Unfortunately, I (perhaps stupidly) accepted a very late retention offer last year on 2/26/23. So I backtracked on the cancelation because I have to keep the card open at least for another few weeks to keep the points I earned, at which time I will probably downgrade to green for a pro rated refund and then cancel it. Need to learn how to time retention offers better.
