- Will adding a new AU be covered under the fee I already paid in Oct - giving them a ‘free’
card through next renewal (with I assume, the $195 x 2 being charged if I keep both this coming Oct.)
- Is SSN required for an AU. I ask because this new AU is in Canada, and doesnt have one.
- Will they mail new card to Canada? Or if not, I assume I could have it sent to me, and then get it to them from there.

appreciate any insight.
mia gives good advice. I can only add that all my AU Amex cards have been sent to me, the primary. Years ago I asked to send to alternate address and was told no. I’d recommend accepting the AU card via post and then sending it onward. And they did require a SSN, which had to be provided at signup or within a few weeks. Mia suggested there might be an alternative; I hope so.

I think AU card will be charged to you on the date of issue for the full annual fee. My AUs in the past have been charged to me on issue/anniversary date (different than my AF due date). But I admit I don’t have info on current rules since I haven’t added an AU since before the big deval.
