The Lounge Access dynamic app thing is odd. Even today, I am unable to bring up my awards on the app. I can book hotels. I can use points. I can view my account activity.
But the minute I hit the Rewards button, it goes into an infinite loop of log in requests that do not work. This is all on the hotel’s wifi.
It is almost as tho the hotel’s wifi system is programmed to require a fresh log in for the rewards area but that it is screwed up. Maybe this is required to keep people from using someone else’s account.
Interestingly, I saw at the top of their ipad check in screen all of my awards listed including the number of each rewards, like 2 free nights, 2 suite upgrades, and my 2 (overlapping) lounge passes. You would think that that would be enough for a fairly clean check in under the persons full name as a primary guest.
I do understand the fraud that they are up against, tho.
Sadly, we must leave today. Odd points booking to get back to the states. Spending tonight at TPE.
